Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026
Glowe is a daily-affirmations app made by CacheVector ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data Glowe collects, why, and which third-party services process it. We've written it to be read, not to hide behind.
Information we collect
Things you create in the app
- Reflections: the feeling you tap and any optional note you write during the Reflect step.
- Affirmations: curated affirmations you save, ones you write yourself, and, on premium, affirmations personalized from your reflection text.
- Voice recordings: if you use own-voice affirmations (premium), the audio you record.
- Glow history: which days you completed your ritual, used to render your glow.
Account information
Glowe offers a guest mode, so you can use the core ritual without an account. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a user identifier and, depending on your choices with that provider, an email address. We use this only to authenticate you and sync your data.
Device and usage information
We collect limited, privacy-respecting analytics (for example, which screens are used and whether a ritual was completed) and crash reports, so we can fix problems and improve the app.
Where your data is stored
- On your device. The curated affirmation library and your day-to-day data are stored locally so the ritual works offline.
- In your private account. If you sign in, your reflections, affirmations, and glow history sync to our backend, and any voice recordings are stored in a private, per-user storage bucket. Access is restricted to your account.
Third-party services we use
Glowe relies on a small set of established providers. Each processes only the data needed for its function, under its own privacy policy.
- Supabase: authentication, database, and storage for your account data and voice recordings.
- Anthropic: powers premium AI-personalized affirmations. When you use that feature, your reflection text is sent through our server to Anthropic's API to generate an affirmation. It is used to produce your response and is not used to train models on your personal data.
- RevenueCat: manages subscriptions and purchase status for Glowe+ (premium). It processes a purchase identifier, not your reflections.
- Google AdMob: free accounts see limited ads in designated places in the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers and advertising data to serve and measure ads. On iOS, personalized ads depend on your App Tracking Transparency choice. Subscribing to Glowe+ removes ads.
- PostHog: product analytics, used in an aggregated, privacy-respecting way.
- Sentry: crash and error reporting so we can fix bugs.
- Firebase (this website only): the waitlist form on getglowe.app stores the email, optional name, chosen interest, and platform you submit, so we can invite you at launch.
How we use your information
- To run the Glow Loop and show you affirmations that fit your check-in.
- To sync and back up your data across your devices when you sign in.
- To provide premium features you turn on (personalization, voice).
- To operate subscriptions and, for free accounts, show ads.
- To fix bugs and understand, in aggregate, how Glowe is used.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your reflections to build advertising profiles.
Your choices and rights
- Use guest mode to keep your ritual on-device without an account.
- Delete individual reflections, affirmations, or recordings in the app.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
- On iOS, control ad personalization through App Tracking Transparency and your device settings.
Children
Glowe is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Glowe evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
