Privacy Policy

Glowe is a daily-affirmations app made by Gentleloop Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data Glowe collects, why, and which third-party services process it. We've written it to be read, not to hide behind.

The short version. Your everyday ritual works on your iPhone and doesn't require an account. Your reflections, saved affirmations, custom affirmations, and Glow history stay on that device. We don't sell your data or run a public feed.

Information we collect

Things you create in the app

Reflections: the feeling you tap and any optional note you write during the Reflect step.
Affirmations: curated affirmations you save and custom affirmations you write yourself.
Glow history: which days you completed your ritual, used to render your glow.

Where your data is stored

The curated library and your personal practice data are stored locally on your iPhone so Glowe works offline. Glowe does not operate an account or cloud-sync backend. Your data may be included in an Apple device backup according to your iPhone and iCloud settings.

Third-party services we use

Glowe relies on a small set of established providers. Each processes only the data needed for its function, under its own privacy policy.

Apple App Store and StoreKit: process Glowe+ purchases and provide the app with verified purchase and entitlement status. Apple does not receive your reflections from Glowe.
Google AdMob: free users see limited ads in designated places in the app. Glowe requests contextual, non-personalized ads only after the applicable consent flow is complete. Subscribing to Glowe+ removes ads.
Firebase (this website only): the Android waitlist form on getglowe.app stores the email, optional name, and chosen interest you submit, so we can let you know when Glowe is available on Android.

How we use your information

To run the Glow Loop and show you affirmations that fit your check-in.
To provide premium features you turn on.
To verify purchases and, for free users, show ads.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your reflections to build advertising profiles.

Your choices and rights

Delete custom affirmations in the app.
Delete Glowe or erase your iPhone to remove its local app data.
Review or change ad privacy choices from the app when required in your region.

Children

Glowe is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Glowe evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
